After the marriage has been decided, it's time for the bridal bath. Friends and relatives of the bride would gather with musicians and meals, dance and eat in the bathhouse. The bride used to wash three times in the middle to purify it before the wedding ceremony. It was also common to take newborns to baths after 40 days to be bathed in the middle.
